Sharing a File / Folder with OneDrive
Important Notes
Please ensure you have permission to share documents outside of the company. If in doubt speak with your line manager first.
To share a file from OneDrive, first open File Explorer.
Navigate to the file / folder within your OneDrive - Glazerite folders.
Right Click on the file or Folder that you want to share, click on Share from the drop down menu.

Click on "Anyone with the Link can Edit >"

Here you can select the way you want to share the document.
Anyone - Anyone who has the link to the file / folder can share the file / folder. LEAST SECURE
People in Glazerite Windows Ltd - Only people with a Glazerite Windows Ltd account.
People with existing access - Re-share with people that already have access.
People you choose - Specify which people can access the file / folder. MOST SECURE
More Settings
Can edit - The people you share the file with can make changes to the file. (WRITE)
Can View - The people you share the file with can only view the file they can not make changes. (Read Only)
Date - You can set a date that the file will be shared up to. This is very useful to limit how long someone can access the file.
Set password - Pretty obvious, set a password for the file to be viewed / edited (depending on permission given above)
Block download - This prevents the people you share the file with from being able to download the file. This only works with Can View (Read Only) and is very useful for sensitive documents.
Once you have chosen the appropriate settings click on Apply.
Depending on the setting you chose, you can enter the email addresses of the people you want to share the file with. You can also set the permissions to Can Edit or Can View or go into the settings (detailed above) from here too.

To share the file then click Send. The people in the list will receive and email with a link to the shared file or folder. In some instances the people receiving a share may need to sign up to OneDrive to view or edit the files.
If you want to send the link in an email from Outlook or put the link in another document you can click on Copy then paste the link into your email or document.
